MARMOT

Premier technical apparel and outerwear company Marmot developed a new brand position that focuses on fun in the outdoors as a path to health and happiness.

Knowing my combination of deep product knowledge, authenticity and knack for humor, they approached me for help in two areas — writing a new brand statement that would serve as their North Star and translating their new brand position into product copy.

I provided them with a declarative brand statement drawing from their brand pillars and new look and feel. And I wrote about 500 new and updated product descriptions in their new brand voice that will appear in digital and point of purchase.

Based on the success of that work, I joined the Marmot team full time in June 2021 to lead new campaign ideation and bring the brand voice to life throughout Marmot.com and speciality outdoor retailers.
